Why Does Buying Condoms Have To Be So weird?

In recent years, NIgeria has been named one of the most sexually satisfied country in the world. When it’s comes to sex, we hold it down; so why is there an aura of embarrassment around the purchase of condoms?

I mean, you always have to walk into the pharmacy or supermarket with a straight face and make your order with an almost-inaudible tone.

To avoid lingering side eyes, you turn back immediately after your purchase, not looking at anybody.

I still don’t understand why. With how much we enjoy sex, why do people still get uncomfortable around the topics?

Why can’t we shout “I want to buy condom” like we shout “I want to buy credit”?
