Why Are People Trying To Rationalize Internet Fraud?🤦🏿‍♂️

In a bid to relax after a stressful day, I decided to do a little Twitter. That’s when I found Naira Marley trending.

And because of curiosity, I decided to find out why, I wouldn’t say I was surprised but come on! I expected better.

This nigga actually said “If you understand slavery, you will never criticize yahoo boys”.

First of all, this is a dumb logic and a fucked up way of thinking.

Apart from the fact that they are destroying lives and families, yahoo boys are in no way helping Nigeria’s economy; they are not on any Robin Hood shit (and if you mention Instagram giveaways, it means you have a very low IQ). How do those giveaways directly affect and grow our economy, or better people’s lives? All they do is give out superficial things that really can’t stand the test of time.

There is a saying which goes “Yahoo boys will never give you money to do good things, but when you want to flex, they are ever ready”.

Y’all also come with the argument that the whites took our ancestors as slaves. True, you’re right. But y’all, don’t be ignorant and understand that our ancestors, the ‘ancestors of all of us living in Africa’, had a hand in the selling of their brothers and sisters, so we’re not that innocent.

Or is it because they haven’t struck on people close to you? Let me burst your bubble, these criminals don’t see color, they just steal from available sources (we have all gotten text messages from people claiming they are our bank managers).

Rhead: Naira Marley is just an unfortunate scapegoat

Y’all shouldn’t be riding on foolish sentiments. What is bad is bad. These people are thieves, and the fact that they are your family doesn’t make it any less wrong.

To further butress my point, these boys make it hard for well meaning Nigerians to have international dealings. People that will affect the economy positively can’t do shit because of the bad reputation these people have created.

I don’t see Naira Marley as someone who is intelligent or a role model, so I don’t have a problem with him ( a dumb mind can only say dumb shit). My problem is with the people that are blindly supporting this bullshit.

How would you feel if someone robbed you of all your money? Think about that before making foolish, insensitive and ignorant statements.

Let’s all talk with sense abeg.
