Nigeria Is A Long Way From Being A United Nation

Nigeria has a mildly complicated history — from people who originated from different tribes made to live as one, to the civil war, and basically the unrest in the nation. One would think we’ve always hated each other, you would think putting us together was a great mistake.

But it’s 2019, the country should be more progressive, I mean the people who fought in the civil war should be old men by now, if not dead. Our history should be something we learn from and not something that controls us.

Nigeria is still as tribalistic and discriminatory as it was during the civil war. The battle might have stopped but the war hasn’t ended.
