I Never Expected Fireboy DML’s ‘Jealous’ To Make Sense

First of all, I would like to apologize for doubting, I am actually humbled, like really I am. The song is fire, and it took me about a month to get around and listen to it.

To be honest, I don’t really enjoy YBNL songs, because I feel they left good music to make something controlled by radio spins and club bangers which sometimes reduces the quality of music. I am not hating because in actual honesty, there is a market and crowd for anything you make and I feel their fans really love what they do, but their sound isn’t really my scene, so I stayed away from their music.

I have been hearing about this Fireboy DML for a while now, and I was like, ‘who is this?’ Then I was told he is a YBNL artist which made me loose interest quickly. Then the noise about this ‘Jealous’ began to get annoying and I couldn’t avoid it, but what actually made me check the song out wasn’t the hype. I was walking down the street yesterday and I heard the song start, and the beginning! My God! Whoever made that beat deserves God’s blessing. Fireboy DML did kill the song and created a mad tune that I haven’t been able get off my head. There was soul in the song, which is something I appreciate in music, when music comes from a real person and its targeted to a real person. The moral of the lesson is, do not underrate anybody, thank you!
